“The unique painting process used in these minis is the same as the one I apply as an artist in the “full scale” world. I apply a plaster base on top of the surface of an archival panel. I then carve and etch into the surface which gives the painting a low relief, organic appearance. The manipulation of mediums and acrylic paints on the surface, adds depth and richness to the colors.
